Bill Shorten - Australian Labor Party Leader - Promotes Ed Husic To Shadow Ministry - Mt Druitt-St Marys Standard/Daily Telegraph

Although, the Liberal/ National Coalition Parties under the Leadership of Malcolm Turnbull won the Federal election by the slimmest of margins 76 seats to Labors 69 with 1 seat still in doubt, heading towards the Australian labor Party.

So now, Bill Shorten, leader of the opposition ran a strong campaign in the 2nd July 2016 Federal election and yet, did not win enough seats from the 'government of the day' to have a mandate. So in Opposition, again, Bill Shorten will have a stronger shadow ministry and with the inclusion of Ed Husic, Federal Member for Chifley as the Employment Services and Workplace Participation Shadow Minister.

We applaud our Federal Member for Chifley in going up the ladder, after his third term of being elected in to Federal Parliament. It is a credit to his stance in his electorate, that he represents a shadow ministry that is so vital in our community. Will it be in years to come he might reach the top of the ladder of Prime Minister? That is yet to be seen.

Bill Shorten Annual Budget Reply Speech 2016

Image result for bill shorten mpHere is Bill Shorten's (Opposition Federal ALP Leader)  Australian Government Annual  Budget reply speech, which  seemly provides a loud message of why the Australian Government looks after Businesses first and tax cuts to higher income tax earners rather than provide tax cuts to lower income earners.

This is a well earned debate as on one side of the coin where lower taxes for lower income earners means more spending in the economy and  more job creation, whereas is providing lower taxes to higher income earners and businesses it creates more spending and more investment created for more job prospects.

Opposition Leader, Bill Shorten talks about Education & Health cuts, cutting money from families earning $60-$65K and cuts to big business. Labor will not support a tax cut to big businesses and will support tax cut to small businesses, which represents 83% of all Australian businesses. He the outlined Labors plans, which I suggest you list too.

My person thoughts were his speech was like he was campaigning for the oncoming Federal election, which is yet to be called.
