Last sunday a Busways bus driver told myself that Busways Management are reviewing real time travelling from Opal Card records, in NSW Bus Region 1 and there is a possible chance that bus services in weekends will stop earlier than previously time tabled. Mostly like be stopping around 6pm as well as reduced bus services during the day and this may also be happening during weekday nights as well.
Thank God for bus drivers able to speak out and voice their opinions on it.
I think this proposal is negative compared to the good news they share with us at what we receive at Black City Council Transport Forums, each year. Click here for last Blacktown City Council Public Transport Forum 2016
One thing that Busways may want to provide to the NSW Transport and Minister of Transport is a report on how many times the Opal Card ticketing machine malfunctions on Busways buses and what do Busways bus drivers do to potential fare evaders.

So before Busways discuss cutting down bus services in NSW Bus Region, how about ensuring that Opal Electronic ticketing machine are working as if they are not, they are not recording correct commuter trips. This, I notice machine not working are mostly on weekends.
